hello my name is the highway drifter "real name is john york" i am from la follette, tn i am a one man band i play delta style blues with alternative rock, punk, and folk overtones just because i say blues don't think it is boring i put all i have into every song and people will get there money's worth .....i play under the name the highway drifter...i play guitar, i sing, i play slide, i play rack harmonica,sometimes on a few songs i just sing and play harmonica.... i keep time by stomping my feet with a tambourine on my right foot for added percussion....i have been touring by myself all over tennessee, kentucky, and virginia, and georgia anywhere i can, and if i am comeing to your town please come out and support and have a good time.....
