Karate Body Records LLC is a vinyl-centric record label founded in Louisville, Ky., on Jan. 1, 2009. Since then we have released albums by Big Eyes Family Players, The Fervor, California Guitar Trio, Shipping News, The Ravenna Colt (Johnny Quaid, formerly of My Morning Jacket), Ume, Phantom Family Halo, Invaders and Cheyenne Marie Mize & Bonnie "Prince" Billy. As well, we have released three split singles as part of our limited edition, vinyl-only Belt Series: The White Belt (Pokey LaFarge/Joe Manning), The Green Belt (The Fervor/Wussy) and The Yellow Belt (Lucky Pineapple/Prizzy Prizzy Please).
