I was the General Manager, Productions Director, and Music Director (at separate times) at WUSO 89.1, Wittenberg University's (Springfield, OH) college radio station. While employed in an official capacity, I was also on-air for 6 hours a week in three separate shows. I also programmed, as the Productions Director, material for times in which the station was not manned by a DJ.
I am a huge fan of underground hip-hop and house music, odd being from the indie rock capital of Kentucky, the Highlands in Louisville. Although my favorite artists are shifting at all times, right now, they include J-Live, Little Brother, People Under the Stairs, Ohmegga Watts, Mark Farina, DJ Sneak, and JT Donaldson. I tended to structure my radio shows around a wide variety of musical genres, often swinging from progressive rock to house and hip-hop in the span of 4 songs. I am currently a graduate student, an MA in the English Department.
