i am co-host of the" hot burrito show". our theme has been "gram parsons called it cosmic american music, and we call it the hot burrito show" since the show transitioned from the "white lightnin' show" - originally begun by steve holland( currently our west coast v.p. of honky tonk and jangly byrds-type bands).

gram described making, " all music for all people " or " cosmic american music" ,which would mix c&w with rock n' roll and soul. one of gram's signature songs is "hot burrito #1". the "hot burrito show" fills the radio free lexington airwaves and e waves with sounds that delight in mining that thin but deep vein where george jones sits down to have a cold one with neko case, and the ramones open a 3 way for hank williams and rilo kiley.

i love a lot of different types of music and that is reflected in my shows.our show is kinda' like having a friend over to share music with, " hey! have you heard this wilco song" or "you've got to hear this classic from roger miller ". we play country, rock n roll, soul, honky tonk, rock, bluegrass,western swing, alt country, roots, southern rock,country punk, folk rock, pop, rock a billy, countrypolitan, americana, gothic country, rhythm & blues and some music that is hard to label even if you wanted to! ~ we think gram would approve.
