I like prog. I compose prog. I also like jazz. And classical (particularly late Romanticist and early Modernist), Latin (particularly Latin jazz / Brazilian jazz), fusion, experimental, art music, avant-garde, baroque pop, math rock and mathcore, various other 'cores, Motown, funk, R&B, blues, punk (particularly Straight Edge punk!), metal, gospel, bluegrass, noise music, Americana, reggae, lots and lots (and lots) of world music, ska, doo wop, 50's/60's pop, indie, (authentic) country (id est, country before the entire genre became incompetent attempts at advertisement and propaganda), (non-violent/non-sexist/Straight Edge) hip hop (it does exist), medieval, new jack swing, disco, ragtime, dixieland, twist, and Zappa. I compose music in every one of these genres (except for the last; no one can do that)--along with plethoric sub-genres. I play music in all of these genres. And then I go back to composing in every one of these genres. And then I combine them all in prog.

I also am an active filmmaker (id est, director, producer, writer, cinematographer, score composer, etc.)--and just an overall very fervent film enthusiast.

I also dig physics, mathematics, and philosophy. And politcs. Sometimes.

And Straight Edge and veganism.
