Coming up Thursday, July 11, Lexington “post sludge” band, Forrest, will be playing as part of WRFL’s Sunburn Series.
Band members include Riley Logan on lead guitar, Jared McIntyre on bass, Charlie Overman on rhythm guitar and synthesizer, and Josh Summerville on drums. The band’s newest EP “The Final Frontier” comes out on July 17. Forrest’s previous EP “Kickball with Russians” and their recent single “Bubba” are available now.
Forrest is playing the second show of WRFL’s Sunburn Series 2019. The last show of Sunburn Series 2019 will be on August 8 with the band, The Daybreaks, performing.
The free show will be held at 7 p.m. in the Smiley Pete Tadoo Lounge at 434 Old Vine Street. The Riverboat Grill food truck will be parked outside the show. Admission is free and open to all ages. Come on out and enjoy some awesome local music.
